I love to learn. I have a Master of Arts in Counseling from George Fox University, Studio E: Enneagram Professional Training Course Certification from Enneagram Portland, Integral Coach Certification from New Ventures West, Masters of Business Administration from Capital University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. My primary focus for continuing education has been in studying mindfulness, trauma, challenging the inner critic and the Enneagram.
Before entering the field of counseling in 2009, I was in the broadcasting industry working in sales and sales management for 20+ years. I understand and have compassion for work related stress, career restlessness, confidence issues and personality challenges in the work place. Often getting an outside perspective can help make things clearer and the direction more straight forward.
I believe life is the greatest teacher. Ironically, you learn more about yourself, your capabilities and your needs from your challenges and suffering. We will explore those together and find the strengths and passions that give you resilience. The opportunity to share what I have learned from my education and training, my work with others and from my own life challenges is a privilege.
I would consider it an honor to be the counselor to help you find your way.
